Maui women entrepeneurs

Mother to mother, let’s be real – we have so much to do in a day that trying to even explain it all would blow most peoples’ minds.

From the laundry, to the school, to the clients, and beyond, it can some times feel like there is never enough time in the day.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. Not anymore.

Right now, we are living in a unique time where we have instant access to anyone and everyone thanks to the online world. While I am truly an advocate for face-to-face, one-on-one introductions first and foremost, I also am well aware of how anyone trying to do business in 2020 must be skilled in the digital sphere. It will make you more competitive, more organized, and give you an upper-hand over the competition.

So, after many, many hours in seminars, webinars, meetings, and training sessions, I’ve created my own list of useful online tools and programs to get me in touch with clients quicker, leaving me more time and space to be with my family.

Here’s a look at a few of the online programs I’m using to streamline workflow, communication, and information.

1. Calendly: This online service will have you reaching out to clients and starting the sales process quickly and efficiently. It will work with your Google, Outlook, Office 365 or iCloud calendar so you always know what is going on and when to do it! It can help you gain clients through automated messaging and instant capture.

2. Later: Sick of constantly updating your Instagram when you would rather be sitting at the dinner table with your babies? Social media should be viewed as one piece of an entire marketing plan, not the whole piece. We were never meant to be on there for hours responding, messaging, and posting. That’s why I love this app because you can create your content in advance and schedule regular posts so you don’t have to worry. This program will do the daily work for you, giving you more time and freedom.

3. Zoom: If you are starting a new business or currently have one, I highly recommend using ZOOM for potential meetings with clients and staff. It’s never been easier to work from home than now and ZOOM makes it that much easier. You can share your computer screen with a potential client, have face-to-face interaction, schedule regular meetings, and plan for future communications all in one. While coffee would be nice, sometimes we aren’t always able to be in the same room as our potential clients and; therefore, have a way to create authentic relationships, even online.

I hope you enjoy exploring a few of my favorite programs, apps, and tools. Whether you are just starting to integrate online platforms into your business or are looking for new ways to reach out and capture new clients, these programs are beneficial to any mom entrepreneur looking to make 2020 their most successful, stress-free year.
