Maui Mankind Project

It’s the most important men’s work occurring in the U.S., and perhaps in the world, today.” Ken Druck, Ph.D., Author; Real Rules of Life: Balancing Life’s Terms with Your Own- an excerpt from his testimonial about The ManKind Project

The ManKind Project (MKP) and the New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA) is a global network of peer-facilitated mentoring groups that support men and help them thrive in every aspect of their lives. MKP is an all men’s organization that puts on training weekends and runs weekly support groups for men.

The New Warrior Training Adventure is not about paintball guns. It’s not about running around in the woods naked beating on drums. It is an emotionally, spiritually, and physically challenging weekend. It is a weekend for men that focuses on learning to connect with those parts of themselves that they have lost contact with, doing so in a completely safe and supportive environment.

MKP is not an anti-women or anti-feminist organization; in fact, it is quite the opposite. The NWTA is not about women; it is about men and about reclaiming manhood in a way that is not about violence, but about truth – each individual’s truth. MKP asks the questions: “Who am I as a man?” and “What am I about on the planet?”

MKP men are learning to give up the illusion of control. They are striving to give up the need to tell the world and others how to live. MKP men are giving up the need to judge others and giving up the belief that they are superior to others based on their judgments of them. MKP men are learning that the adult, not the needy little boy in each man, is in charge of their life and the difference in these men’s lives is phenomenal.

Over 100 men on Maui have been initiated via MKP’s flagship training – the New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA). The next NWTA, in Hawaii, is the weekend of March 14 – 15 – 16, 2014 on Maui at Camp Keanae.

“The demands and pressures that men face today require an extraordinary level of courage, authenticity and tenacity. Are you ready to take a risk and see what life’s like on the other side of the door you’ve come to?” (

Any man can call 808 250-5554 or visit for more information and to register for the training.

…direct them toward strong men: There is a group of men who have willingly and very seriously shouldered the task of ushering the young males of today into the manhood of tomorrow. This is a group of men that all boys and men should be exposed to. I mean that without qualification. This is a group of men, dedicated to creating and supporting an environment for deep, honest and necessary male exploration. Here is a link that should be explored by any adult that would like to provide optimal conditions for a young male to become a man: The ManKind Project ~
