    At weekends and after the after-school program is finished at 5:30pm the Makawao Elementary School Playground is open to the public. It is also open at weekends and during the summer after noon (the school has a morning program).

    If you are coming from Makawao Town and take the side street (Ukiu Road) to the right just before Makawao Elementary school you will see the play structures on the right in the school’s play yard. Always keep the gate closed.

    The park has three new looking play structures on astro turf and plenty of shade to hang out under while you watch.
