Music classes Maui

La-ti-da Music is proud to announce the long awaited opening of their new location at 133 Makawao Ave, just across the Kula Highway as you go into Pukalani.

La-ti-da is owned and ran by music teacher Miss Aubrey Myers and has grown tremendously since opening in 2007, in thanks to the great support of many wonderful Maui families. Miss Aubrey has continued to build a comprehensive, credited, and well respected music education program here on Maui. These programs are designed to share the benefits of music, the joys of island culture through music, and most importantly to keep music alive in our community.

Piano lessons now start as early as age of 3-1/2 years, with the most recent addition to the La-ti-da array of offerings, WUNDERKEYS, a pre-school piano program. Sign up this summer as space is limited.

La-ti-da programs are focused on developing young minds and bodies. Research shows that music (learning to play an instrument and listening to complex musical structures) can help develop neural pathways (the same used for solving math and science problems), help with eye-hand coordination, dexterity, muscle memory, enhanced creativity, and much more. La-ti-da classes also introduce the great classics to your child and historical music figures that have changed this world.

When a child learns to play a musical instrument it can also help build confidence, problem-solving skills, team building and independent thinking in a fun way using games, puppets, movement, art, and most of all laughter! It can also, most importantly, give your child an avenue to help them express themselves and find their joy in art.

There are also plans to open an Upcountry Music store by this fall.
