Candle light remembrance Maui

You stayed only a moment, but what a legacy your footprints have left on our hearts.

While our little ones may only have been placed in our arms for a moment, they live safely in our hearts and memories forever. On October 15th, the Annual Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day Candle Lighting Ceremony will be held to honor their memory. We will gather at 6:45pm on the lawn fronting the Kalana O Maui County Building, 200 High Street and light candles at 7pm as is done around the world- creating a continuous wave of light in remembrance.

The loss of a pregnancy or infant is heartbreaking and can be an isolating experience- with close friends and family so often at a loss for what to say or do. Connect with other families with similar stories who understand the ache- the forever love and share your story and remember by candlelight. Wonderful comfort and acceptance can be found when surrounded by families who have walked a similar journey.

Parents, friends, family & professionals touched by pregnancy or infant loss are welcome. Candles will be provided and lit at 7pm followed by light snacks and refreshments.

For more information on the annual candle light remembrance or to RSVP please contact event chair Lauren Wilson 264.3007, or www. If you are unable to attend, but would like your child’s name to be read, please contact Lauren or post on FB. Provided with support of the March of Dimes Maui Division.
