Haunted Haiku Hike

This Halloween season, Haiku’s Awalau Farm will open its gates to the Mythological Creature Sanctuary and host the Haunted Haiku Hike and Myths of Avalon Faerie Festival October 24th-25th, noon-6 pm.

The Haunted Haiku Hike and Myths of Avalon Festival offers a hidden Halloween experience, full of Unicorns, Mermaids, Faeries, Dragons, Wizards and other exotic creatures, where children can play games, craft wands, gather treasures and interact with creatures from far away lands. Families can enjoy live music, magic shows and the wondrous natural terrain of the untouched property.  The photo opportunities are spectacular and the magic and memories made at this event last a lifetime.

At night the sanctuary transforms into an interactive outdoor haunted theater. This year is the debut of an hour long show, “The Darkest Tales of Neverland” featuring Paia Pan, Tiger Liliuokalani, and Captain Cook in an Hawaiian spin on James Barrie’s Peter Pan. This play uses historic events from Hawaii’s past to illuminate the legend. It will be playing October 26th-30th at 6 pm and 7:30 pm.

Awalau Farm reminds its visitors to please come prepared for the weather and the walk: sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen, water and a jacket. For tickets and more information, please visit www.HauntedHaikuHike.com
