Hawai’i could be the first state to provide universal healthcare!
To find out how this could become a reality you are invited to attend a FREE event “Healthcare for Hawai’i” on Thursday, March 1st at 6 pm at the Kihei Charter School on Lipoa (behind First Hawaiian Bank). This event is organized by Indivisible Kihei, and co-sponsored by Kihei Community Association and Organizing for Action Maui.
The guest speaker of the night is Dr. Stephen Kemble, who will talk about public options possible for healthcare in the Hawaii Legislature this year. Dr.Kemble is a Professor of Medicine at UHM, past President of the Hawaii Medical Association and was appointed to the Hawaii Health Authority (who were charged by the Legislature to plan healthcare for the State). HHA have designed a universal healthcare system that would cover everyone in Hawai’i!

There will be plenty of time for questions from the audience.
