The seventh Essential introduces living abundant – attracting plentifulness. “Abundance” as an energetic-vibrational state of being; a place to come from, rather than a place to go to. As our very own Wayne Dyer states: “Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.” What keeps us from dialing into the frequency of prosperity? Why does abundance appear to be beyond our grasp most of the time, no matter how much we do?
Have you ever noticed how many people live in a perpetual state of lack? They are trapped in a mindset of “… not enough”, which is expressed through money, possessions and status. These people dwell on what “should be/could be/would be/if only…” and everything that could possibly be wrong with their relationship, kids, family and life. When we are not abundant in our relationships our primary focus is on what is “missing”. We find all the things that are lacking in our partner, and notice that they are not, “romantic-loving-handsome-successful—enough” (… you fill in the blanks).
A single person usually can’t help but digging into what is missing in themselves. They are convinced that they are not smart enough, not beautiful enough, not slim enough etc., which is “why” they can’t attract a mate. It appears that something is fundamentally lacking and they insist on fixing what seems to be flawed and “not perfect enough”.
Contrary to popular belief that “acquiring” possessions, status and wealth brings us satisfaction and happiness, we have found that it is often the greatest hindrances to abundance, because our attention is still on what we do not have. “Chasing the Golden Ring” produces a constant state of discontent. Living abundant starts by shifting your awareness from scarcity to the experience of plentifulness.
An abundant life is not measured by what is acquired, but in the capacity to enjoy what we already have. Abundance is a state of being from which we observe prosperity within everything. By noticing our ability to access all resources, abundance is present in spite of any circumstances. It is the recognition of the natural cycle of plenty, where nothing is lacking and everything is enough. It becomes a daily practice to catch yourself when you are habitually going into your “not enough…” mindset. Instead, choose to attune yourselves to the energetic frequencies of gratitude and generosity. By practicing this, you facilitate your desired outcome and tap into the source where abundance abounds”.
